Today Square Enix released new screenshots for the upcoming FINAL FANTASY X-2 HD Remaster. The screenshots feature the gorgeous HD versions of the three playable characters Yuna, Rikku and Paine and the world of Spira, two years after the events of FINAL FANTASY X.

The variety of screenshots shows that each of the main character models have been reworked to offer more facial expressions in the game. The textures of the surrounding environment and backgrounds were also carefully redrawn for the FINAL FANTASY X-2 HD Remaster. Finally, the resolution of Yuna’s concert performance has been increased for the HD version.
