My Thoughts On Black Clover

Black Clover EDITORIAL

What’s going on everyone, so I’ve been a fan of the manga series, Black Clover, ever since late 2016. I’ve heard so much about this series from different anime fans on the internet. So I was curious and pick up a copy of the first volume. To be honest I once slept on this series and I put it to the side while I was reading other manga such as My Hero Academia. I finally took a look at the manga in late 2016 and I was immediately blown away on how incredible the story was. After reading the first volume I had to read more and currently Black Clover is my second favorite manga series (the first is My Hero Academia). Recently I have begun watching the Black Clover anime on the Crunchyroll streaming service and in my opinion it’s amazing. However I notice that there are many people in the anime community who dislike this anime. After watching the first 13 episode of Black Clover, I can agree and disagree what most people are talking about. Continue reading

Anime Weekend Atlanta 2017 Recap and Gallery

AWA 2017 Cover pic

Over the past weekend, I got the chance to attend this year’s Anime Weekend Atlanta, or AWA for short. Anime Weekend Atlanta is a 4-day anime convention that comes once a year around the end of September and Early October. AWA has always had a special place in my heart, mainly because this was my very first anime convention that I have ever attend, and I love everything about it. AWA is not as mainstream as MomoCon or Dragon-Con, but it’s not a small convention. Some of the big names in the anime and cosplay industry come out to interact with the fans. I enjoy walking around the Cobb Galleria to see the different cosplay, it’s fun to see how creative people can get with their costume. Even though I only attend one day of the convention, I have fun throughout the whole day. AWA is probably be my favorite anime convention in Atlanta and I can wait to attend next year. That’s all I have to say for now. Until next time, “Be Easy and Stay Epic!”

Death Note Review Cover pic

What is going on everybody, this is Tyuno. If you’re an anime fan then I’m assumed that you have heard about the new American version movie of Death Note currently streaming on Netflix. Most fans of the series have had questionable doubts about this film, mainly because of how the movie doesn’t look nothing like the anime. But of course, you should never judge a book by it’s cover. So on August 25, I sat back and watch this so-called live adaptation and I have to say after watch this Netflix movie, it is nothing like the popular anime that I grew up watching. This was a whole different Death Note that has nothing to do source material. As I watch this movie I try to find out similarity from the anime and the movie, but it was very hard to do so. So why is this movie is now consider one of the worst anime adaptation, here is what I think about this original Netflix movie. Continue reading
