What’s up gamers, this is Tyuno The Great. Well E3 has come and gone. There were a ton of new games announced that created a major buzz in the gaming industry. We saw new gameplay from some of the most anticipated games for 2012 and 2013. We also saw brand new gaming making their worldwide début at this year’s E3. There are so many games from E3 2012 that made a huge impression, but which were the top 5 best games from E3 2012?
I have always been a fan of the Forza series so was excited to hear the announcement of a new Forza game, Forza Horizon. It was great to see new features being added to the game, such as the change from daytime to nighttime during races. Also, it was great to hear some good dub-step in the trailer. Forza Horizon is schedule to be released this fall. In my opinion, Forza Horizon will be the best racing game in 2012.
Ever since Tomb Raider was showcased at last year’s E3, it’s been getting a lot of hype behind it. This year’s E3, Square Enix showcased more gameplay of Tomb Raider at the Microsoft E3 press conference. After watching the gameplay preview, I was amazed at the graphics of the environment and the characters. I can’t wait to get my hands on Tomb Raider. I think Tomb Raider will even surpass Uncharted, but we will see in 2013.
People have stated that Ubisoft was the clear winner of E3 2012. During their press conference they show off a ton of best-selling games coming out this year, but the most talked about game from Ubisoft was a brand new game called Watch Dog. Watch Dogs showed off its impressive gameplay and graphics. The game have a hacker style appearance to it. There’s not a lot of information on this game, but I would love to play Watch Dogs whenever it comes out.
I stated before that Ubisoft put on a great press conference at this year’s E3. One of the game that was showcased at their presentation was Assassin’s Creed 3. Ubisoft showed off a ton of gameplay for Assassin’s Creed 3 at both their press conference and at the Sony Press Conference. Every time I see new gameplay of Assassin’s Creed 3, I get more excited to play this game. The game offers so many new features that makes the game unique from it’s predecessors. Assassin’s Creed 3 have so much hype behind it, I think it would be a contender for Game of the Year.
Of course, the most talked about game from E3 2012 would have to be the new game from Quantic Dream, Beyond: Two Soul. The first time I saw the graphics on Beyond, I was wowed with amazement. Sony did a great job opening their E3 press conference with the unveil of Beyond. One reason that Beyond: Two Souls is impressive is because of one person, Ellen Page. It was announced that Ellen Page lend her voice to Beyond and the main character in the game looks almost like here. I can’t wait to hear more information from Beyond: Two Soul in the coming month. I think it will offer a lot for the PlayStation 3.
So that’s my Top 5 games from E3 2012. This year’s E3 show a ton of good games for the near future.
