What’s up everyone, this is Tyuno The Great. News have been running around the internet stating that Final Fantasy Versus 13 maybe cancelled. I heard about this rumor this morning and the first thought that ran through my mind was, “it was bound to happen.” Like many other Final Fantasy fans, I have been patiently waiting on news of Final Fantasy Versus 13. Every time a event like E3 or the Tokyo Game Show comes up, I have hoped that Square Enix would reveal some new gameplay of FFv13, but they would never show anything. When I was at PAX Prime last year, I was told that the people working on Final Fantasy Versus 13 actually stop working on it and instead worked on Final Fantasy 13-2. I was really looking forward to tryout Final Fantasy Versus 13 because it was directed by Tetsuya Nomura, the same person who directed Kingdom Hearts which is one of my favorite games of all time.
After I saw some gameplay of Final Fantasy Versus 13, I was super hyped to play this game, because the gameplay remind me some much like Kingdom Hearts. As the months passes, my hype meter soon decreases. Soon after,I had a feeling that it was going to take a very long time for FFv13 to be released. Back in 2006, Square Enix announced both Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy Versus 13 at E3, Final Fantasy 13. It’s been 6 years since Square Enix announced FFv13, since then Square Enix release FF13 and FF13-2. Now there are rumors that there will be a Final Fantasy 13-3.
At the end of the day, I stop waiting for Final Fantasy Versus 13. If the rumor are true that Final Fanatsy Versus 13 is cancelled, then honestly I wouldn’t care. At this point, until Square Enix shows off some new FFv13 gameplay or cinematic trailer, I’m not worrying about Final Fantasy Versus 13. That’s all I have to say about this issue, tell me how you fell about Final Fantasy Versus 13. Be sure to follow The Tyuno Project on Twitter @TyunoTheGreat and Like The Tyuno Project Facebook Page.
