Well E3 has come and gone. This years we saw many games announced and new consoles revealed. There were a ton of moments at E3 that made every gamer excited to play video games. So with that being said, here are my TOP 5 moments of E3 2013.
Everyone was hoping that Nintendo would reveal the next Super Smash bros. game on their Nintendo Direct at E3, and they did. Every was glad to see the new trailer for Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS, but nobody didn’t expect to see Mega Man as a contender on Super Smash Bros. Once news broke out about Mega Man in Smash, everybody got on their social network to express how happy they were to see the blue bomber again.
Everyone have been waiting for this moment to come. We all thought this would never happen, but it did. During the Microsoft E3 Press conference, we were all surprised to see a trailer announcing a brand new Killer Instinct game for the Xbox One. Microsoft finally listen to their audience and now we can finally play Killer Instinct again when it comes out for the Xbox One on launch day.
During the Sony E3 press conference, Square Enix made a video appearance. Tetsuya Nomura appeared and made two big blockbuster announcements. The first was a new gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy Versus 13 which now officially called Final Fantasy 15. The next announcement that Tetsuya Nomura reveal was a trailer for a game that everyone (including myself) have been waiting for years and that game was Kingdom Hearts 3.
This was a big E3 for PlayStation this year. This would be the years where Sony would final unveil the new PlayStation 4 console. During the Sony E3 press conference, the whole world watch as Sony debut the actual PlayStation 4 console live.
It’s safe to say that Sony clearly won E3 2013. They not only won the battle against Microsoft, but they absolutely murder them. Toward the end of their press conference, Sony announced that they will support used games. Also, they announced that the PS4 will not require a 24 hours check-up. And finally, Sony revealed the price of the PS4 at a cost of $399. These announcement took the gaming industry by storm, people are still talking about Sony. So I think the majority will be buying the new PS4 this November.
Overall, this was an amazing E3 this year. The true winner of E3 are the gamers. It felt like we got what we wanted and more. This year’s E3 was one of the best so far. That’s all I have to say for now, until next time, “Be Easy and Easy Epic!”
